The first party of the season promised great food, free flow of house pour, live bands and snow. The dormant dancing diva in me couldn't wait to jump out of my skin. I was dressed in a glittery dress for work, with my toes wriggling in my shoes with excitement the whole day.
It was quite a Sex and the City setting where we were supposed to network - our very first grown-up party. But since we knew no one, we weren't sure what to do, besides walking around with glasses in our hands. The music wasn't exactly dance-able. So we entertained ourselves by playing a game - the place was decorated with real ice sculptures encasing the client's logo. Whoever could tahan the longest with our hands on the ice wins! And that was the highlight of the night.
P/s If ever you were to part time as entertainers like the ladies in the middle, please make way for your guests. Your role is to make your guests feel/look/sound good, not to be the center of attention (like those above).
