Some weeks ago, the following appeared at the stairwell at my level, as well as in the lift. It indicated a certain NRIC number, a name and the flat unit number.
To my astonishment, it looked like my unit number when I saw it in the lift. But there was no one by that name in my family! I thought wildly that my dad went to the loanshark under a false name. But then no one will be stupid enough to give a pseudo name but the correct unit number.
But upon closer inspection, I realised that the scrawl was referring to a neighbouring unit. Phew.
The scribbling has been erased by the accused, I presume, since then. (But seems like he doesn't know that the same thing was written one level down.)
